One to One Nutrition Consultations
This is for those who want to look at a particular topic or area of nutrition during a one-hour session. During the session we will look at the nutritional areas that will have the most benefit for you right now. You will complete a comprehensive questionnaire relating to your eating habits and goals prior to the session so that we can make the most of our time when we meet. During the session we will create some clear action steps that you can implement straight away to start working towards your goals. I will follow up with a summary PDF to remind you of what we spoke about, actions to take, and relevant links to useful resources. Follow up consultations are also available to review progress, troubleshoot and help to keep you motivated.
3 Month Nutrition Programme
This programme is designed to help you to make lasting changes through education, mindset work and support. Throughout the three months, we work on areas that will have the most benefit to you. It might be that you want to lose weight, have more energy, feel healthier, feel more confident, or you may have signed up to an event and don’t know where to start with your nutrition. This programme includes three one-hour consultations during which we create action steps, followed up by PDF notes and relevant resources. There are many types of breathwork. Breakthrough breathwork is a style of breathwork that uses conscious connected breathing with the aim of gaining personal insight and personal growth. It also uses an element of a modality called belief coding to help ‘re-programme’ subconscious beliefs. Breakthrough breathwork can tap into stuck emotions, past experiences, limiting beliefs, unhelpful behaviour patterns, tensions and stress. Ultimately this helps you to let go of things that no longer serve you. At the end of a session you would go away feeling lighter, clearer, and more confident. The session itself is an immersive experience and takes you on a powerful journey through the breathing style, music and words. The experience can be profound for some people and can be practiced either within a group setting or on a 1:1 basis. I felt instantly at ease. It was clear from the beginning that she was only there to help and not judge. After taking a food diary, Ann-Marie put together a bespoke plan to ensure I was in prime condition to match my energy requirements throughout the week, from what to eat the day before match day, what to eat and drink on match day as well as recovery plans. We commissioned Ann-Marie to do a programme of 6 classes on nutrition to our online cafes. They went down a storm; people finding out loads of information on nutrition and having fun swapping recipes. She made them fun and informative and we had great feedback. She was also a guest on our podcast telling is about how our nutritional needs, and the way we experience food changes as we age. We will definitely be using her again!
I got to the point where I would head out on a run and instantly feel fatigued. Since my sessions with Ann-Marie, I feel so much better. My muscles feel stronger and I don’t feel the fatigue I was feeling before. The coaching sessions were great, and provided support and guidance, which is just what I needed.
Since my sessions with Ann-Marie I have re-wired my view on carbs; I’m now meeting my energy needs, feeling better and healthier. My performance during my training has significantly improved along with my recovery. Whilst I knew nutrition was important, it surprised me how much of a difference it makes when you get it right. Not only do I feel better, but I look better too!
I wasn’t getting the most out of my training sessions, and poor fuelling and recovery left me feeling tired with no real progress in performance. I have now factored different foods into my diet and increased my intake of carbohydrates in a strategic way. My diet is much better rounded (and enjoyable) as a result. I have a much better understanding of: what; when; and how much I need to eat to meet my energy and recovery demands. Ann-Marie is a great educator.
